¿Democracia más allá del estado?
Abstract
This work explores the normative claim that overcoming the state-nation model is desirable, as well as the implications this would have for a democratic theory under the supposition that a state-centered view could be eliminated. The author tries to clarify in what sense a democratic government is associated with statality, what reasons there could be to disconnect the democratic procedure from the sovereign state, and in which way a democracy could be confi gured beyond the state.
