Pablo Larrañaga is a Full-time interim Researcher “B”, National System of Researchers (Level 1). Doctorate in Law cum laude at the University of Alicante, Spain. Master in Legal Theory at the European Academy of Legal Theory, Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis and Katholieke Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. Law degree, with honorable mention, from ITAM. University expert in European Communities and European Union, University of Alicante and European Documentation Center.

Guest Researcher at the Barcelona Institute for International Studies (IBEI), University of Texas at Austin, Tinker Visiting, and Harvard University. Conducted research at the universities of Genoa, the European University Institute of Florence, the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, the Catholic University of Brussels, the Saint-Louis University Faculties of Brussels, the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, the University of Treves, the University of Mainz in Germany, and the Autonomous University of Mexico. He has been a professor at Colegio de México (2017), at UNAM’s Law School (2016) and professor at ITAM, from 2007 to 2015 in the Law degree and Master's degree within the program in Administrative and Regulatory Law. He has taught at foreign universities such as the University of Texas, Universidad del Rosario, the San Pablo University Center (Elche), the University of Alicante, and FLACSO.

He was Director of ITAM’s Regulation, Infrastructure and Development Program and Director of the Free School of Law of Puebla. Full-time professor by public competition of the Department of Philosophy of Law and Private International Law of the University of Alicante and now Honorary Professor of the Department of Philosophy of Law and Private International Law of the University of Alicante. Member of the Scholarship Selection Committee of the “Mexican Postgraduate Students” Program and of the Fulbright-García Robles scholarship, Comexus, in 2013 and 2014.
