Pamela Slotte is Professor of religion and law at Åbo Akademi University, and Vice-director of the Centre of Excellence in Law, Identity and the European Narratives at the University of Helsinki, Finland. She is also an affiliated senior research fellow at the Erik Castrén Institute of International Law and Human Rights at the University of Helsinki. In her research, Slotte has focused, amongst other things, on political theology, law & religion, as well as the theory and history of human rights. Recent publications include Christianity and International Law (co-editor, Cambridge University Press 2021), Juridification of Religion? (co-author, Brill 2017), and Revisiting the Origins of Human Rights (co-editor, Cambridge University Press 2015).
