Los errores y las omisiones del Tribunal Electoral
Análisis argumentativo del dictamen de la elección presidencial
Abstract
This work analyses the main arguments given by the Electoral Tribunal to solve the dispute regarding the presidential election celebrated last year in Mexico. It shows that the resolution, which intends to reject evidence of fraud brought forth by the leftist coalition, fails to justify its decision. Moreover, the author argues that with the same evidence considered by the Tribunal, and with a consistent reasoning, it is reasonable to arrive at a very different conclusion, one that could have modified the decision to validate the presidential election favouring Felipe Calderón.
